The Chairman of Adekunle Ajasin University Students Union Electoral Committee (SUEC), Professor Olukayode Afolabi, has lamented the late turnout by students and candidates for accreditation.
The accreditation, which was supposed to start at 8 am today at Olusegun Obasanjo Multipurpose Hall (OBJ), has experienced a delay due to the late turnout.
In an interview with the SUEC Chairman, Prof. Afolabi emphasized that the election time still stands at 9 am.
"The election will begin at 9 am, but we are still awaiting students and aspirants to come for accreditation," he said.
Accreditation is a way of confirming an individual for their political posts and ensuring they are confirmed for the posts they are vying for.
