2023: Tinubu Support Group Inaugurated in Ondo

•••We are ready to aid Tinubu for Presidential Race- TSG

By: Roland Bayode

Supporters of former Lagos State Governor and APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in their hundreds stormed the venue at Ikare Akoko , Ondo State, following the inauguration of the newly launched Tinubu Support Group, otherwise known as TSG.

Associates of Senator Tinubu turned out enmassed as the group unanimously declared their unalloyed support at aiding Senator Tinubu in taking the next crown of becoming Nigeria's next President.

The event hosted  top political stakeholders in Ondo State and mainly Tinubu's supporters from the six (6) LGAs that make Ondo North Senatorial District such as ; Akoko North West ( Okeagbe), Akoko North East ( Ikare ), Akoko South East (Isua), Akoko South West ( Oka), Owo and  Ose, respectively.

The Convener of the event who also doubled as  The National Coordinator of Asiwaju Change Movement (ACM) since 2015 , Hon. Simisola Ayoade during her speech disclosed that the time for another election is near in Nigeria and that the mandate of the newly launched group is majorly to help find the best answer to the long-burning topic of who  replaces president Muhammad Buhari after his regime.

She explained that the baton has now moved downward to the southern part of the country for equity and fairness sake. "it's now the turn of the south to produce the next president of Nigeria. We have paid our dues in southwest, particularly. Now is the time for us to demand that same gesture be extended to us."

Hon. Simisola who is also a Member, National Steering Committee for Tinubu Support Group ( TSG ), affirmed that it is not uncommon or out of place for anyone to aspire in governing the country, likewise this according to her is a constitutionally guaranteed right for every citizen of Nigeria by birth.

The  National Coordinator of Ondo North Senatorial Zone for Tinubu Support Group (TSG) however, warned  the major  political players in the country never to muddle - up  the water and further exacerbate Nigeria's challenges by picking the wrong person to lead a post-Buhari Nigeria.

The people were not caught with awe as the Honorable revealed that the solution they have now is to look for a candidate who has demonstrated the capacity of solving social - economic and political problems in Nigeria.

She emphasized that the next president needed in Nigeria must be someone who has the following charisma;

"A patriot and a performer. A knowledgeable leader, a philosopher-king.  A thinker and a doer. An auditor and a legislator. A man with an analytic political intellect. A man of deep compassion and selfless generosity. A man who has been tested and trusted. A true federalist. A financial strategist. A visionary beyond illusion"

There is no other person in Nigeria today who fits into this category better than  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Africa.

"In him, we have a man who is ready to sacrifice all he has for his fatherland. A man who has a comfortable control of the entire South West and six solid governors yet threw everything for an alliance with President Buhari for the love of the great people of Nigeria to midwife the birth of a new pan Nigerian political party of our dreams. A man who ran a state that gives opportunities to citizens for appointive and elective positions on merit regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or clan.

"This is a man who left office in 2007 yet, he's relevant  till date. Because he is focused, consistent, and has been the central figure of Nigerian politics since our return to democracy in 1999."

Mrs. Simisola asserted that the Tinubu Support Group(TSG)  has taken it upon itself to convince the National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to throw his hat into the ring and that It has become imperative for them all to come together as a group to do all within their capacity to ensure that he answers their call to contest.

She inaugurated the Local Government Executives from the six (6) Local Government Council Areas  of  Ondo North Senatorial District and charged them to go to their various political wards and begin work to deliver as expected of them all.

"Today, you are called upon because you are found worthy not only to be witnesses to history but also partakers of it. You are here because we believe in you to help midwife the birth of the Asiwaju Presidency.

"We have come together under this umbrella to lend our voices to the already deafening calls from all corners of Nigeria for Asiwaju to contest for the position of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And when he does, to roll up our sleeves and work round the clock to take him to Aso Rock for all our sakes, for the sake of our unborn generations."

Hon Simisola also revealed that the TSG group is willing and ready to purchase for him the presidential nomination / expression  of interest forms, once he answers the clarion calls to contest.

She appreciated everyone present at the occasion and assured them that Asiwaju Tinubu will take them to the promised land and perfect the good works already started by president Muhammad Buhari, GCFR.

AAUA Law Students Breaks Yet Another Record

...

Another Law Students Publish Her First Book.

A 400 level Law student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Oluwabukunmi Olaleye makes yet another history as she released her first enthralling book christened 'Embracing Courage: Eighteen Fears I Conquered as a Teen'

The student in the black and white uniform has often lived as an envy and pride of the 21st century university Akungba Akoko. This, they have shown with all dignity as they continue dominating in every sector both within and outside Nigeria.

2021 has been a quite remarkable year for law students, they have demonstrated leadership, seriousness and exceptional lead and virtue that have bring forth glory to their faculty and the institution at large.

Bukunmi Olaleye wrapped up the year for her fellow law folks in a fabulous way as she shared tensed experience in her book to teach current and next generation of teens of how to overcome their fears and live up to expectations and fulfill their destiny.

The book according to the author focuses on her personal story of how she encountered and conquered fear during her teens.

In an exclusive with our reporter, Deborah Omoare, this pen paramour who is also the Director of policies and programs, Intellectual Property Law Club AAUA chapter revealed the reasons for writing the book and the challenges she faced when penning the book.

Excerpts...

What inspired you to write this book?

I had been tortured by fear for a very long time as a teen. Fear of failure, people's opinion, public attention, and a lot of other fears. I couldn't achieve anything significant throughout these periods until I was able to confront fear. I was amazed at the tremendous speed at which my life changed.

So I was worried about other teens like me that are subjected to similar fears all over the world. They are unaware that they have the power not to let fear dictate their decisions or rule their lives. So they become slaves to their fears.

Hence, I wrote this book to share my personal experience with fear, the lies that fear painted as truth to me, and to encourage people to begin to embrace courage.

The book is directed to which audience?

The book is targeted at teens all over the world. However, it is not exclusively for teens. I believe everyone is being confronted by fear, regardless of age. It is a book that anyone will find useful in fighting fear.

What were the challenges you faced when penning the book?

My major challenge was finding the courage to share my personal experiences. I discussed my personal experiences concerning the issues people do not talk about. Nearly everyone doesn't want to accept the fact that they are fearful because it sounds like a weakness.

The title of your book is Embracing Courage: Eighteen Fears I Conquered as a Teen, what is your definition of fear?

Fear is a lie that the devil makes to appear real and true to us. When we believe them, it begins to take root in our heart and mind and begin to control our decisions.

What made you as a law student dive into writing?

Writing is a hobby that I enjoy doing. Coupled with the fact that I see it as an opportunity to make my voice audible all around the world.

You are the founder of Smartic Studios, what is the studio all about?

Smartic Studios is a brand name for my creative works. I am a writer, graphic designer, spoken words artist, and I am also into filmmaking. So I created Smart studios as a brand to cover all my productions.

What is your advice to teenagers who are already giving up on their dreams because of fear?

I believe that you can't give up on your dream, you can only retreat from fighting for your dream because your dream is mainly who you are, it is what defines your existence on earth. Your dream is that passion that God has deposited in you, so you can't give up on it.

If you retreat from fighting for your dream just because of fear, the truth is that everything inside of you will keep yearning and desire to pursue your dream and even the pain and the torture you experience from desiring for something is worse than the pain that fear brings. So you should go for what you want. Another bitter truth is that the voice of fear will always be present but there is always an opportunity to embrace courage.

My advice to teenagers is that go ahead and fight for your dream, embrace courage, go for what you want because what the fear is known for is to give you reasonable but not valid reasons to stop fighting for your dream, regardless of that, you have the power within you to embrace courage. Don't listen to the voice of fear.
