In his statement, he said and I quote "What you see on the school portal is nothing new, just Maintenance" Students are to pay what they paid last session, The past 400level students paid #70,000 because OPTIMUM pleaded that they are caught unaware, and they are in their final year, they only receive grace.
Everything you are seeing now is a reflection of the earlier agreement done by the past SUG president: Ijanusi Olawale popularly known as OPTIMUM. 'When the issue of increment started, I,myself and some stakeholders about 16 Of us went to see the Pro.Chancellor Dr.Tunji Abayomi at his residence in Akure,And he stated that 'there is no increment',What you see now is an agreement DONE by optimum. And AGREEMENT REACHED CANNOT BE REVERSE EXCEPT THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANGE. He challenge us to call Optimum to come with us and clarify the issue,"we call him but he never show up but we later met and he said he's busy with his election "
