Joelistic Joel Appointed NAUS Chairman

The SUG General Secretary, Comrade Joel Taiwo, known as Joelistic Joel, has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Association of University Students(NAUS), Ondo state.

Joelistic Joel announced his appointment in a press release on Tuesday.

While promising to discharge his new duties effectively, he sought the support of the Nigerian students and universities' stakeholders.

Describing the university system as a driver of positive impacts in society, he noted that a joint effort will help to eradicate robotic imposition on students and provide solutions to problems in the educational system.

 Joel stated, "the University is undoubtedly an integral part of the society, the students' populace does have a lot of quotas to contribute to the society as an essential stratum. Amalgamation, Willingness, Assiduity, Keenest, and Excellence would make us AWAKE as Nigerian Students who would impact positively on the society at large" 

"We charge all university students, stakeholders, and conscious minds to join hands with us and seek answers to the begging questions with an ideal to safeguard our academics, careers, and the educational system as a whole. 

"The situation cannot be solved without the contributions of students who are major stakeholders in the decision-making organ of the university. We must as learned and critical beings, begin to refute all forms of robotic imposition on students."
