Freshers have been urged to read beyond what is being offered and maintain a professional relationship with their lecturers to excel academically.
The admonition was given by Mr. Oguntomisin Oluwadare, the guest Speaker of the Christ Communicator Fellowship (CCF) freshers orientation of the National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS) of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.
Speaking on the theme "How to Excel in Mass Communication'', Oguntomisin who doubled as level Adviser for the 100-level students beseeched them to pray and trust in God, saying life is not easy, friendly as well as unpredictable
"Life is not always predictable and friendly to anyone," he added.
The fellowship president, Olalekan Kuye, enlightened the freshers on how to live, excel and succeed on campus.
In attendance were the Faculty Fellowship President, Adebayo Oluwatosin, the General Secretary, Oriola Emmanuel, and some fresher students.
