In bid to combat the
latest prevalence of Lassa Fever in the country, here are necessary precautions
to take:
- Keep your home clean, and eliminate rats in the house, using rat killers, traps.
- Avoid touching rats with your bare hands.
- Cultivate the habit of regular hand wash
- Cook foods properly before eating.
- Keep your foods (cooked and uncooked) properly closed at all time.
- Avoid direct contact with someone who has the disease.
- Visit the hospital if you feel any of the symptoms related with the disease
