The first Social Media Festival ever in Adekunle Ajasin University, will
happen live today, February 20, at the
Olusegun Obasanjo Hall.
With the theme "DIGITAL
MEDIA AND I", the event will feature top digital content creators and
influencers which include: Yemi Fashipe, Yemi Elesho, Funny Toheeb
The digital event is set to
bring together social enthusiasts, digital marketers, entertainers,
techpreneurs, entrepreneurs, and other
media practitioners.
In an interview with
the Convener, Adesola Ikulajolu, he noted that the aim of the event is to
orientate
students on the effective use of social media and other digital tools.
According to him, it is also going to be opportunity for content
creators to interact, network and connect with one another.
Ikulajolu further explained that, "
there will be varieties of brands ranging from: entertainers, information technology experts, communication experts to Information managers, who will enlighten attendants on the best ways to
use the digital media.
