It was a great moment at Obasanjo Multipurpose Hall, as the Solution Mediaz in conjunction with the office of the Adekunle Ajasin University Students' Union Public Relations Officer, celebrated the Yoruba cultural heritage at the De-Repertoire.
The event which was held on Friday recognized the importance of Yoruba art and culture through its activities.
Present at the event were AAUA Acting VC, Professor Olugbenga Ige, who was represented by Professor Olu Alana; Nollywood Actress, Toyosi Adesanya; Miss Akoko, Oloruntegbe Oluwadunni, and others
While addressing the students, the Nollywood actress, Toyosi Adesanya admonished them to put more efforts into their studies, as well as be determined to succeed.
She further noted that the importance of education is to solve problems.
Meanwhile, Solution Mediaz launched its app and also awarded some outstanding personalities.
Also, the AAUASU Public Relations Officier, Comrade Oluwafemi Adegbeyeni was presented an award for being the Most Hardworking Unionist Of The Year.
Part of the event was a beauty pageant, which had a 400 level student of the Department of Chemistry, Fagbuyi Daniel Oluwasijibomi; a 200 level student of the Department, Biochemistry Jayne David Omotoyosi, emerge as Mr./Mrs. ASA.
Other activities were comedy, magical art display, musical display.
