The National Association of Ilaje Students Electoral Committee(NAISEC) has declared Jedo Babatunde, politically known as Fidelity, as the President-Elect of the National Association of Ilaje Students, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, chapter.
While declaring the winner at SOMASSA LT6, the Chairman of the National Association of Ilaje Students Electoral Committee, Okunnowo Imole, affirmed Fidelity was declared winner of the 2020/2021 NAIS election, having polled a total of seventy-seven votes, defeating his closet opponent, Mekuleyi, politically known as Alagrace, who polled twenty-eight and fulfilled all electoral law.
Others who contested for the post of President and lost to Jedo Babatunde were: Ajimijaye Aseri, politically known as Jaiye, with a total number of fourteen votes; Omojowo Glory, politically known as Ogooluwa, with twenty-seven votes.
Other declared winners on opposed were: Oyebulejo Adekemi (Chemmy) as the Vice President, Sama Mobolaji, (Mobolaji) as the General Secretary, Ileromara Elizabeth (Repsali) as the Public Relations Officer, Sama Imole (Wisdom) clinched the seat of Financial Secretary, Ojulari Adebowale (Whaky Crown) emerged as the treasurer.
Also, Ajimuda Syifunmi (Motani) won as the Welfare Director, Ikumehinlo Olawale (Young Chief) emerged as Social Director), Omolopo Godwin known (Winmer) clinched the office of the Sports Director, Omorisi Faith Babatunde (Psalm Faith) was voted as the Assistant General Secretary.
Speaking with ECHO MEDIA, electorates affirmed that the election was free and fair.
