The National Association of Idanre Students Electoral Committee ( NAISEC) has declared Olumide Jones, politically known as Kay, the President-Elect of the National Association of Idanre Students (NAIS), Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko chapter.
While declaring the winner at SOMMASA LT6 on Thursday, the Chairman of the Committee, Olatise olamojiba stated that Kay was the winner of 2020/2021 NAIS Election, having polled a total of 58 votes, defeating his opponent, Brighten.
Also, Ajisogun Oluwabusayo won the post of Vice-President unopposed.
Akinlalu Esther Anuoluwa (Olamiposi) emerged Welfare Director with a total of 59 votes, against her opponent Yhemihz who had 20 votes.
Also, Michael Ayodimeji (Ay) won the post of Financial secretary with a total of 43 votes. His opponent Oladapo Ayorinde Motunrayo(HayWhy-focus) had 36 votes.
Akinyimika Kehinde Donald (Don Aristotle) emerged as the General Secretary, Olorunfemi Blessing Ayomikun (Zema), Assistant General Secretary; Oluwatimilehin Sefunmi Frank (Oluwasefunmi), Treasurer; Omogbemi Ojo Oluwamayowa (Mayor King), P.R.O.
Speaking with ECHO MEDIA, electorates affirmed that the election was free and fair.

Total number of ballot papers: 109
Total number of ballot papers used and accredited voters:: 84
Total number of unused papers: 25
Void: 16 (six for the post of the president, five for the post of the welfare director, and five for the post of the financial secretary)
