The Management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko has lifted the ban placed on the Kegite club of the school.
This was revealed in a statement issued by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Olusegun Owolewa, where he disclosed that the denial placed on the club has been raised aloft after considering internal controversy within the club.
He said this was also a result of the requisitions and efforts made by the past leaders of the association.
"Given the resolution of the internal imbroglio within the Kegite Klub of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko and the subsequent pleas from the past leaders of the club, the initial suspension placed on the club is hereby lifted with effect from Saturday 26th June 2021."
The club was earlier suspended from its activities in a statement by the DSA, Dr. Owolewa as a result of the internal crisis in Kegite Club, which could threaten peace and order on the campus.
He said, "Previous approvals of Kegite activities are hereby withdrawn, and for emphasis, no such activities of the Kegite Club should take place in any part of the campus."
