AAUA SUSPENDS KEGITE CLUB, WITHDRAWS APPROVAL OF ACTIVITIES

The activities of the Kegites Club have been suspended in Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.

The suspension is in view of the internal power tussle within the club.

The suspension was hinted by the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Olusegun Owolewa in a statement sent to ECHO MEDIA.

In the statement of the Dean, he stated that the tussle is a threat to the peace on campus.

His statement: "In view of the internal wrangling, in Kegite Club, Akungba, which could threaten the peace and tranquillity of the campus, all activities of the Kegite Club are hereby suspended till further notice."

Dr. Owolewa further added "for the purpose of emphasis, no such activities of the Kegite Club should take place in any part of the campus."

"Previous approvals of Kegite activities are hereby withdrawn."

Meanwhile, sources within the KEGITE club reveal that there is a tussle of power which is tearing them apart.
