The Nigeria Union of Campus Journalists (NUCJ), Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), has admonished campus journalists to stay away from political ambitions while practising the profession.
The AAUA NUCJ President, Friday Omosola made this known at the training of the newly recruited members which was held at (SOMASSA) Lecture Theatre A4.
He said engaging in both activities– politics and journalism– at the same time causes sentiments and biases in their reportage.
He further advised the new members to make names for themselves before opting out of the school walls to enrich their Curriculum Vitae (CV).
