The Nigeria Union of Campus Journalists (NUCJ), AAUA Chapter in collaboration with the Students' Union Electoral Committee (SUEC) has announced May 2nd, 2023 as debate date for aspirants ahead of the Student Union Election of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA).
In a memo signed by the SUG Debate Committee which was obtained by ECHO MEDIA, the debate will hold at the institution's old Relaxation Centre (RC) at exactly 9:00 AM.
The memo added that the manifesto will also come up the same day immediately after the debate at the matriculation ground by 2:00 pm.
NUCJ futher invited the students' populace to the election debate as well as the manifesto which would avail them (students) the opportunity to ask questions and understand the aspirants vying for various positions and whom to vote for.
The statement reads: "The Nigeria Union of Campus Journalists, NUCJ wishes to invite the entire student populace of Adekunle Ajasin University to the Student Union, SU Election Debate scheduled to hold on Tuesday,2nd of may.
"We look forward to your attendance. Come and see your potential leaders in their intellectual stance."
