The management of Ajasin Varsity, Akungba-Akoko has reportedly barred bike riders from entering the Senate Building.
According to reports gathered by ECHO MEDIA, the order is to bar all bike riders from plying the road from the gate of the Senate Building.
ECHO MEDIA gathered that the order was given by the management.
ECHO MEDIA visited the Senate Building gate to have a firsthand information and observed that bike riders and their passengers are being asked to stop and drop at the gate.
The passengers who are mostly students were seen trekking down to the Senate Building as well as their various lecture theaters.
ECHO MEDIA can authoritatively report that the decision to bar bike riders from entering the Senate Building gate has generated mixed reactions.
The distance to trek from the gate to any lecture theater or Senate Building is not less than five minutes under the hot sun, this has been contested by the students and other concerned passengers.
ECHO MEDIA approached some of the security at the Senate Building gate where one of them said "that is the order that was given".
