The Adekunle Ajasin University is set to hold the 2019/2020
matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students on March 3, 2020.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof Olugbenga Ige made
this known on Monday while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the 2019/2020
Students' Union Government.
He further noted that all new students must pay their
tuition fees to qualify for the academic exercise.
According to him, this will aid the compilation of the names of new students to
be sent to the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Meanwhile, Prof Ige reiterated that the first semester examination for the 2019/2020 academic session will commence on March 9, 2020.
He stated that it is an effort to regulate the university's academic calendar and end the session by August 2020.
