Ayodele Oluwaseyi who is politically known as AfterPsyche emerged as the first faculty president of the Social Science Student Association (SOSSA).
The faculty which was once addressed as (SOMASSA) Social and management Sciences got disassociated earlier this year and were under the leadership of Comrade Agbolahan.
AfterPsyche who is from the Department of Pure and Applied Psychology was able to pull much effort at the poll to defeat his other 2 opponents.
The election which was slated to begin at 11AM commenced at 1:30 pm due to some logistics from the faculty SUEC members and some students who were still in class.
Ayodele Oluwaseyi who is politically known as AfterPsyche was able to poll out with 471 votes and Adeyemi Temitope who is politically known as Indomie also poll out with 176 votes and Adodo-Davies also known as King Davies poll out with 43 votes. The total void for the presidential candidate is 21.
Adeofun Ajibola who is from the Department of Sociology, who is politically known as Hypeman Bolex, and Ayanbade Olamide Raymond who is politically known as Rhazzy, from the department of Economics vibes for the post of social director, was able to poll out with a total of 711 votes, in which 654 votes were counted and 57 voids. Hypeman Bolex polled out with a total vote of 323 while Rhazzy polled 331 votes. Rhazzy was declared the winner.
At the end of the election, the Electoral Chairman, Owolabi Taiwo Ademola is politically known as LAMBERT, declared AfterPsyche for president and Rhazzy as the Social Director.
Meanwhile, other political offices such as the V.P, the Gen Sec, PRO, financial secretary, Treasurer, Welfare Director, Sports Director, and AGS were automatically declared winners of the election.
