In a bid to promote academic excellence amongst Nigerian students, the National Association Of University Students, Ondo State CMC, has announced the OTI Essay Writing and Debate Competition.
With the topic, "TOWARDS A BETTER NIGERIA; THE YOUTH AND THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTION" the competition will be between Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko ( AAUA); Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA); Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH); University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED).
According to the association in a release signed by the Chairman, Comrade Joel Taiwo, the competition is sponsored by Hon. Oti Oluwaseun.
Meanwhile, the winner wins 100,000, the first runner-up wins 50,000 and the second runner-up wins 30,000.
The statement further reads, "Registration is free and the process for registration is just your submission of your essay to NAUSCMCONDOSTATE@gmail.com as all other necessary information will be communicated to you."
"DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 5th August, 2021."
