... Shifts Date For Second Time

The earlier scheduled meeting to hold today Monday, between the Ondo State Government under Rotimi Akeredolu and Agboola Alfred Ajayi,Students Union leaders and other stakeholders over the tuition fee saga in AAUA and OSUSTECH, has been postponed.
According to an info obtained by ECHO, the meeting was said to have been postponed due to the Childrens Day Celebration.
Meanwhile in a Statement signed by the General Secretary of AAUASU, Comrade Adebayo Jesutola Tolajay Ofr on Monday evening, it explained that the meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow Tuesday May 28.
He pointed out that the postponement was announced by the SA on Youth and Education, Comrade Banji Adewumi 2019 and that the reason for postponement was due to "Logistics".
The statement reads "The leadership of the students Union hereby regret to announce to the entire studentry that the meeting earlier scheduled to hold today between the Ondo state government and the students Union of AAUA, Osustech as well as the management and Governing Councils of both institutions has been postponed till tomorrow 28th may, 2019."
"The reason for the postponement was relayed to us by the special adviser to the governor on youth and student affairs, Mr Banji Adewumi. He pleaded that the Reason for the postponement was based on some logistics that were not in place."
He further maintained that the Union will continue to relate all matters to the students and as well see to their Welfarism.
"We Hereby urge all students to remain calm as the Union will continue to relate with all members as events unfolds," Comrade Jesutola said.
SHIFTING THE MEETING AGAIN TILL NEXT WEEK
Meanwhile, according to a source that spoke with ECHO, the Tuesday meeting has also been shiftted till "next week".
However, the source did not disclose the reason for the shift.
As at press time, no official statement has been released concerning the meeting and it's outcome.
