AAUA VC Encourages Students On Entrepreneurship Excellence

The Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Professor Olugbenga Ebenezer Ige at the 2023/2024 matriculation ceremony has urged students to pursue knowledge and entrepreneurial excellence.

In his address at the school's Olusegun Obasanjo Hall (OBJ) yesterday, Prof. Ige underscored the importance of entrepreneurship in complementing academic pursuits, stating that it represents a crucial aspect of the nation's quest for educational excellence. 

He urged students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and cultivate relevant skills to contribute positively to society.

He further said the newly matriculated students should familiarise themselves with the university's rules and regulations, encouraging them to excel in various fields, including sports, entertainment, and the arts.

Highlighting the achievements of the university, particularly in academic excellence and extracurricular activities, Prof. Ige showcased AAUA's success in national and international competitions.

In his remarks, the VC stressed the significance of quality education and assured parents of the institution's commitment to delivering excellence.

He expressed confidence in the students' abilities to thrive academically and professionally, urging them to make the most of their time at AAUA.

The VC, however, reaffirmed AAUA's dedication to providing a conducive environment for learning and personal development.
