As regarding the new intakes in the department of philosophy, and the entire students of arts faculty, Mr. Adedeji Michael Adebayo, the erstwhile president of philosophy department has urged all the students to invest more of their time on studying.
The former president who happens to be a graduate from the department, expresses his motives concerning the need for encouragement. He said, "..they should try and know to set their priorities aright and also hold their studies to high esteem and be focused just as the saying goes 'When you focus on your focus you become other peoples' focus...Get focused'."
He also unveiled briefly about the challenges faced by him during his period of studentship and how he could able to solve them. Alleging with our spokesmen, "I was always optimistic about whatever challenge that surfaced and I took it all to God in prayers and He didn't fail me in those trying and challenging moments of my study here on campus."
Mr. Adedeji Michael Adebayo has well enjoined the present administration of philosophy department to be consistent, God fearing, and to lead right as the work entrusts on any who leads is to govern by example, so as to keep the smooth relationship flowing among the students in the department. He furtherly stated that, "..they should work in love and unity for only in that can they succeed far better than we ever did in our administration. And also forget not that united we stand divided we fall. I wish all NAPSITES a significant success engulfed semester."
