The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) has declared Friday, April 18th, and Monday, April 21st, 2025, as public holidays in line with the Federal Government’s directive for the Easter celebration.
This was announced in an official circular issued by the Registrar, Mr. Olugbenga Arajulu, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga E. Ige.
According to the circular, the University will be closed for official duties during the two-day holiday, except for staff on essential services. Normal academic and administrative activities are scheduled to resume on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025.
“The Vice Chancellor has, therefore, directed that the University be closed for official duties on Friday, 18th and Monday, 21st April, 2025, except those on essential duties. All members of staff and students are requested to note that official activities resume on Tuesday, 22nd April, 2025,” the statement read.
On behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Arajulu extended warm Easter wishes to Christians and the entire university community.
