Final-year students of The Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA), named Class of 2023 recently celebrated their Cultural Day, tagged #OjudeFUTA, in a vibrant display of Nigeria's rich cultural heritage.
Held on Thursday, the event was part of the activities marking the conclusion of their undergraduate program.
The festival showcased the students' cultural diversity and creativity, earning praise from the organisers of the renowned #OjudeOba Festival in Ijebu Ode.
The event, described as a "festival of STEEZE and cultural vibes," featured students dressed in elaborate traditional attires, highlighting the beauty of Nigerian culture.
Farooq Oreagba, a standout participant in the 2024 #OjudeOba Festival, was particularly impressed by the FUTA students' efforts, praising their organisation and participation in the cultural extravaganza.
