It has been subsequently quoted that an "injustice to one is a threat to all" .Going by the the trending news of that soldier who was indicted and was not tried before the court of justice but allowed to go Scott free.
Nigeria is a developing country and this would be a dent on the image of the Army who are supposed to guard the sovereignty of a state end up perpetrating injustice .
However this would not be the first time that soldiers would use the privilege of their uniforms to manhandle civilians and abuse their rights .Are we still aware that we are not in that jackboot military era ?
The impairing of Democracy in our great country is highly disheartening. Is the voice of the people still the law? We are aware of scar or the aftermath of rape on victims but none have experienced how bad it feels on rape ,some victims even end up committing suicide.
Pigs would fly if we allow this case that should be taken with utmost profoundness to be swept under the carpet and forgetting the voice of the people .
# We want justice
#And this must be done
# we are not in a banana republic
